Founded in 1962, Sedano's Supermarkets started as a neighborhood grocery store in Hialeah, Florida, and has grown to serve diverse communities in Florida with 35 stores.

The first store was founded by a Cuban exile named Rene Sedano. In 1962, a Cuban named Armando Guerra acquired **Sedano's **store and kept the store's name the same. Then the Herrán family joined the business. Their initial goal was to provide their customers with Latin products that bring back the flavor of their homeland and, to this day, it hasn’t changed.

The variety of homemade meals, the unique flavor, and the cafecito are all hallmarks of the familiar and nostalgic atmosphere they want to create. Established by the Guerra and Herrán families, Sedano's continues to operate as a family business, and we are proud to provide excellent service to our customers and a healthy workplace for our team members.
